Hello!

Since I was a young girl, I have always had a special interest in sports, especially baseball. I have followed the New York Yankees since the day I was born, and I played softball myself for 10 years. After deciding not to continue playing softball in college, I knew I needed to find something to reconnect myself to sports, and luckily, I found that in my work. 

Throughout my college career, I have worked for three baseball teams managing social media, and have assisted social media efforts for six verified athletic social media accounts. I started my work with Illinois baseball, where I have spent all four of my college years posting Instagram stories, live-tweeting, and assisting with Media Relations efforts. I have also run accounts for the Kane County Cougars (Independent League) and the DuPage Pistol Shrimp (Prospect League) with complete autonomy.
 

This past summer, I served as the seasonal Social Media Manager for the Kane County Cougars, my hometown baseball team. I was able to learn so much through that experience and also learned so much about the industry as a whole. I was challenged in this position, taking on a graphic design and photography role that I had little experience in, but I loved the challenge, as I was able to further develop my skills.

Working in sports has brought me a fulfillment that I have never experienced in any other form of work. I am able to truly enjoy myself while working, so much so that it doesn't even feel like work at times. I want to continue that fulfillment by continuing to work in sports in the future.
